Product Description:
Magnesium alginate is a divalent metal salt of alginic acid. The product is slowly soluble in water to form a thick colloidal solution, insoluble in chloroform, ether, and at low pH in 3-acid solution.
Appearance:
This product is a white to slightly yellowish-white, viscous or fine powder, odorless and tasteless.

Features:
Slowly dissolve in water to form a viscous colloid solution, insoluble in ethanol solutions and solutions with a concentration higher than 30% (wt), insoluble in chloroform, ether, and acid solutions with a PH value lower than 3.
Application:
Mainly used for livestock and poultry food as a kind of additive.
