Description:
This mutant, which is resistant to neamine, was isolated in cells grown on 2-amino-3-phenylbutanoic acid (and is probably resistant to that compound also) prior to plating on neamine. It shows Mendelian inheritance (i.e. is in a gene encoded in nuclear DNA).
