Description:
The y-y strain, which is a UV-induced derivative of a y1 strain, fails to convert protochlorophyllide to chlorophyll either in the dark or in the light. These strains frequently acquire second-site suppressors and become green. MUT-2911 is the best y-y in our collection currently.
