Description:
This is an osmoregulatory mutant that grows best on TAP medium supplemented with .06 M sucrose, sorbitol or lactose. It may grow somewhat more slowly than wild type. This strain was obtained by UV mutagenesis of MUT-125 wild type mt+, and was backcrossed to wild type several times.
