The primers are carefully optimized for high specificity, amplifying only Ascosphaera apis and showing no cross-reactivity with other pathogens. A positive control is provided to help distinguish false negative samples. The PCR mix contains loading dyes, allowing for direct loading onto electrophoresis after PCR. This kit is sufficient for 50 PCR runs in a 40μL system, but is for research use only.
