Our Analytical Technology Platform
- Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). This technology platform has high sensitivity and is suitable for most types of lipids (especially polar lipids such as phospholipids), and is ideal for analyzing PC, PE, PI, Cer, SM, acylcarnitines, and oxylipins.
- Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). This technique is suitable for volatile fatty acids and methyl esterified fatty acids (FAME).
- UPLC-HRMS (high-resolution mass spectrometry). Suitable for non-targeted screening or precise structural analysis.
Application Areas
- Ecotoxicology. Explaining the effects of pesticides on insect growth, reproduction, and survival through changes in lipidomics provides a scientific basis for assessing the ecological risks of pesticides.

Our Testing Process
- Experimental design. Clearly define the research objectives, establish control and treatment groups, and determine the sample type.
- Sample collection and pretreatment. Rapidly freeze, inhibit lipase activity, extract lipids, and purify using solid-phase extraction (SPE) if necessary.
- Internal standard addition. Add lipid-specific isotope internal standards for quantitative correction.
- LC-MS/MS analysis. Perform multiple reaction monitoring or parallel reaction monitoring on a high-resolution platform.
- Data quality control. Set QC samples for each batch to monitor retention time, peak area, and ion intensity consistency.
- Data analysis. Use advanced data processing and lipid identification software for peak extraction, calibration, and quantification. Additionally, in lipidomics data analysis, we employ PCA, PLS-DA, and KEGG pathway enrichment for biological interpretation.
