Description
This product is a white or off-white powder, odorless and tasteless, highly hygroscopic, and easily soluble in water. It is insoluble in ethanol, acetone, and other organic solvents.
Introduction
It is a low molecular weight heparin sodium salt produced with the heparin from the healthy porcine intestinal mucosa, and by alkali depolymerization of the heparin benzyl ester derivative.
Indications
It has the largest number of indications among all low molecular heparins. It is used for the prevention of venous embolic disease, treatment of deep vein thrombosis, and prevention of thrombosis in extracorporeal circulation of hemodialysis.
