Reducing the Amount of Chemical Fertilizer

Reducing the Amount of Chemical Fertilizer

Chemical fertilizer is an important supply source of crop nutrients in the agricultural production process, with obvious application effect and easy to use. However, for a long time, the massive and unreasonable application of chemical fertilizers has led to increasingly serious problems in the agricultural ecological environment and a continuous decline in the quality of arable soil. At the same time, the deterioration of the ecological environment has led to worrisome quality and safety of agricultural products. In addition, chemical fertilizer production leads to energy consumption.

Lifeasible has extensive experience in agricultural synthesis. We are committed to developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced in agricultural development by following the hot spots in agricultural synthesis research. We provide advanced technology and effective solutions to reduce the number of chemical fertilizers used in agriculture while promoting plant growth, increasing crop yields, improving crop economic efficiency, and promoting green and sustainable agriculture.

Reducing the Amount of Chemical Fertilizer

We offer various effective solutions to help reduce fertilizer use

Lifeasible's use of synthetic biology can reduce nitrogen fertilizer use, including the cultivation of autotrophic nitrogen-fixing plants to improve the plant's uptake and conversion of nitrogen. As well as complex synthetic biology strategies to transfer nitrogen-fixing enzyme-related genes into plants or to establish symbiotic nitrogen fixation in major crops. Also, because implementing multifunctional nitrogen-fixing enzymes involves a large number of genes, oxygen sensitivity and dependence of metal symbiotic factors, we can use mitochondria as the site of nitrogen-fixing enzymes to achieve spatial and temporal separation of photosynthesis and nitrogen fixation. In addition, we propose to establish the symbiosis of leguminous rhizobia in crops to improve nitrogen and phosphorus utilization in plants. Furthermore, the establishment of plant-microbe interactions is dependent on phytohormones. In particular, in mediating the symbiosis of some fungi and nitrogen-fixing bacteria, we designed the production and release of targeted and regulated metabolites that can enrich useful microorganisms for plant nutrition, thus improving plant nutrient uptake and reducing chemical fertilizer use. We are constantly optimizing our technical services and developing innovative solutions to reduce the number of chemical fertilizers used in agricultural production, with the main solutions listed below.
