Study of Plant Endophytes

Study of Plant Endophytes

Plant endophytes play an essential role in plant protection. Lifeasible provides services to help study the role of plant endophytes in plant protection to promote the use of endophytes in plant protection.

Plant endophytes are microorganisms that reside inside plants. As a group of microorganisms that can invade living plant tissues without causing disease symptoms, they are harmless to the host plant and play an essential role in protecting the host plant. It has been found that endophytes can promote plant growth, protect plants from pathogens, and improve plant resistance to abiotic stresses. For example, endophytes can promote plant growth by secreting phytohormones, helping to improve nutrition through bidirectional nutrient transfer, and enhancing plant health by protecting against plant pathogens. Endophytes are widely present in plants and are numerous. Studying their protective effects on plants can help to utilize them in plant protection and achieve ecological plant protection.

Our Services

We offer three types of plant endophyte research services, including differential studies of endophytes, endophyte functional studies for plant protection, and endophyte screening.

Endophyte detection and differential analysis

It is relatively difficult to detect endophytes of plants, especially endophytic bacteria, as 16S rDNA of plant mitochondria and 16S rDNA of chloroplasts tend to interfere with endophyte detection. We provide professional endophyte detection to help our customers easily achieve endophyte detection. We provide endophyte detection for whole plants and plant parts, including roots, stems, leaves, and seeds. Based on the results of endophyte detection, we offer endophyte differential analysis services to help identify endophytes with protective effects on plants.

Study on the protective function of endophytes

Knowing the differential endophytes is the basic step to studying the plant protection function of endophytes. Studying the specific plant protection functions of endophytes according to specific situations is the basic step to better applies endophytes to plant protection. We provide studies on the multiple plant protection functions of endophytes, including the effects of endophytes on plant growth, the effects of endophytes on the plant stress response, and the effects of endophytes interacting with other environmental microorganisms on plants. These services will contribute to the specific application of endophytes in plant protection.

Isolation and culture endophytes

Isolation of endophytes allows further functional studies of endophytes. We offer endophyte isolation and culture services to help fully investigate the function of endophytes to provide comprehensive recommendations for their plant protection applications.

Our Advantages

More professional endophyte detection

We use several methods to improve the detection rate and accuracy of endophyte detection, including endophyte culture, locked nucleic acid (LNA) primers, nested PCR, 16S full-length sequencing, lysozyme, and sonication destruction.

More extensive analysis of the role of endophytes in plant protection

In combination with the isolation and culture of endophytes, we can provide a more comprehensive analysis of the plant protection functions of endophytes, including the direct and indirect plant protection functions.

More experience in plant protection

We have been studying plant protection for a long time, and we have knowledge of plant protection substances, making it easier for us to discover the plant protection role of endophytes.

Using endophytes to modify plant responses and adaptations to biotic and abiotic stresses is an eco-friendly approach to plant protection. To better facilitate the use of endophytes in plant protection, Lifeasible provides research services on the role of endophytes in plant protection to help understand the exact plant protection role of endophytes. We have long focused on plant protection research of endophytes and have accumulated much experience in this area. Please contact us if you have any needs for plant endophytes.
