Introduction
Being a respiratory enzyme with iron porphyrin as the prosthetic group, it is an activator of cellular respiration and a complex protein. It is complexed by polypeptide and hemoglobin.
Indications
It is used as the first aid and adjuvant for tissue hypoxia, such as carbon monoxide poisoning, hypnotic poisoning, hypoxia in high mountains, cerebral hypoxia, and hypoxia due to heart disease.
