F/2 is the perfect nutrient media for algae and a widely used general enriched medium for growing algae. The original formulation from Guillard and Ryther (1962) has been slightly modified for growing freshwater and seawater strains of algae. This is a complete media, easy to use, and contains all the necessary trace elements and minerals to grow your algae.
