PRP-014
Product Introduction
Lysozyme is a low-molecular-weight, alkaline enzyme capable of hydrolyzing the polysaccharides in pathogenic bacteria. As a component of the body’s natural immune defense mechanism, lysozyme derives its name from its ability to dissolve bacterial cell walls; it is a glycosidase capable of dissolving certain bacteria. It primarily acts by breaking the β-1,4 glycosidic bonds between N-acetylchitin and N-acetylglucosamine in the cell wall, decomposing insoluble mucopolysaccharides into soluble oligosaccharides. This causes the cell wall to rupture, allowing its contents to escape and resulting in bacterial lysis. This product is produced using genetic recombination technology, expressed in rice endosperm cells, and purified through protein purification processes.
Product Advantages
It is free of animal-derived components and poses no risk of viral infection, offering superior batch-to-batch stability.
