Egg Freshness Rapid Detection Kit (10) is suitable for rapid detection of freshness of chicken egg. If the egg sinks to the bottom rapidly, it means the egg is fresh. If the egg floats on the testing solution, it means the egg is not fresh. It the egg suspends in the solution, it means the egg is not so fresh.
Notes
1, The doubtful positive sample can be retested to confirm the result.
2, The reagent should be kept away from children at room temperature.
Storage
Keep the detection kit in a cool and dry place at 4-30 ℃. The validity period: 18 months.
Scientific Background
Fresh egg: The eggshell is smooth and strong without breakage and spots; the pore of eggshell isn’t exposed. It is covered with frosting powder.
Stale egg: The eggshell is shiny or grey without frosting powder and it sounds hollow when clashing.
Eggs with longer storage time, the more evaporation of water, the more air is inside, but also the decline in the proportion of eggs. The proportion of freshest egg is 1.080, the fresher one is 1.070 and the fresh one is 1.060. While the proportion of egg that not so fresh is 1.050. So the freshness of egg can be determined by the proportion of egg. Fresh egg is good to human body, but it is harmful that the eggs are contaminated by Salmonella and other harmful microbes.
