Mollusks Protein Analysis Services

Mollusks Protein Analysis Services

Through mollusks protein analysis services, Lifeasible can provide not only protein purification and component identification but also analysis of protein expression patterns and functional patterns in mollusks, which include qualitative identification, quantitative detection, intracellular localization, and interaction studies of proteins, ultimately revealing functional protein networks.

Background

Mollusks Protein Analysis Services

Mollusks contribute to immune regulation, produce anticoagulants, and protect the vascular system. Chemical analyses have shown that mollusks contain proteins, polysaccharides, and nucleoside nutrients. The proteins identified from mollusks are mainly cytoskeletal proteins such as microtubulin, actin, promyosin, myosin heavy chain, and histones; they also include ribosomal proteins, arginine kinase, ATP synthase, elongation factors, and heat shock proteins. Proteins, as the performers of physiological functions, are the direct embodiment of life phenomena. The study of their structure and function can directly elucidate the mechanisms of organismal changes under physiological or pathological conditions.

Our Services

Lifeasible has a professional bioinformatics analysis team to provide you with comprehensive bioinformatics analysis services. Our mass spectrometry experts monitor the process to ensure accurate and reliable experiments. We can provide you with protein extraction and purification, composition identification, and histological analysis services in the shortest possible time.

  • Services contents

To study a specific protein, it is first necessary to isolate and purify it from mollusks. Protein purification methods mainly utilize the similarities and differences between different proteins. Based on the similarities between proteins, non-protein material can be removed, and then the target protein can be isolated based on the differences between proteins.

Provides protein component analysis services, including protein analysis support, from method development and applicability validation to process/cleaning validation and sample analysis.

Proteomics is the science of holistic, dynamic, and quantitative study of life phenomena and patterns at the protein level using high-resolution protein isolation techniques and efficient protein identification techniques. It is an integral part of systems biology.

  • Protein analysis services for customers
    • It is recommended to send raw samples unless the client is already proficient in protein extraction methods for proteomics.
    • Animal tissue samples: wet weight of at least 200 mg, samples should not be hemolyzed, and PBS perfusion should be used to rinse the tissue until the blood is removed.
    • If the customer provides protein samples directly, the protein amount should be at least 1 mg, and the concentration should not be less than 2 mg/mL.
  • We provide the data results as follows
    • A complete proteomics lab report (including specific experimental procedures).
    • Bioinformatics analysis results.
    • Raw data of protein profiling assays.
    • Protein assay reports.
  • The analysis includes the following
    • Functional annotation: including GO annotation, Pathway metabolic pathway annotation, and COG annotation.
    • Enrichment analysis of differential proteins: including GO enrichment analysis of differential proteins and Pathway enrichment analysis of differential proteins.
    • Protein interaction analysis: protein interaction network analysis.
