Cetrimide Broth is used for the selective cultivation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed after an incubation at 35-37 centigrade for 24-48 hours.
Reaction of 2.53% w/v aqueous solution at 25 centigrade. pH : 7.2±0.2.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade in tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 2-8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 25.3 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in tubes. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes.
