Chus Medium No. 10 is used for culturing blue green algae.
Form
White to light yellow homogeneous free flowing powder
Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed under tungsten lamp, after an incubation at 25-30 centigrade for 10-15 days.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade in tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 2-8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 123 mg in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Mix well and dispense as desired.
