Product Overview
Phytopathogenic Microbe buffered starch agar base is selective medium for the detection of Xanthomonas campestris pv.campestris and Xanthomonas campestris pv. armoraciae in brassica.
Form
Light yellow to light green coloured, homogeneous, free flowing powder
Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed with added NMPT Supplement, after an incubation at 30-32 centigrade for 5-6 days.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 42.21 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 centigrade and aseptically add the rehydrated contents of one vial of NMPT supplement. Mix well and pour into Petri plates.
