Phytopathogenic Microbe Pspo agar base is selective medium for the detection Pseudomonas syringae pv. porri on the seeds of leek.

Cream to yellow coloured homogeneous free flowing powder
Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed after an incubation at 30-32 centigrade for 5-6 days with added CNTB supplement-1 (PHS005).
Reaction of 4.56% w/v aqueous solution is pH 7.50 at 25 centigrade.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 45.63 grams in 1000 ml distilled water containing 1 gram of boric acid. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize the medium by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 centigrade and aseptically add the rehydrated contents of one vial of CNF supplement Mix well and pour into sterile Petri plates.
