Product Overview
Phytopathogenic Microbe semi-selective agar base is semi-elective medium for the detection of Xanthomonas campestris pv.vesicatoria on seeds of pepper and tomato.

Cream to yellow coloured, homogeneous, free flowing powder
Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed after an incubation at 30-32 centigrade for 5-6 days with added CCFTNB supplement (PHS011) .
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 29.0 grams in 1000 ml distilled water containing 10 ml Tween 80. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize the medium by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure(121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 centigrade and aseptically add the rehydrated contents of one vial of CCFTNB supplement Mix well and pour into Petri plates.
