Phytopathogenic Microbe sucrose peptone agar base is selective medium for the detection of Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. phaseolicola and Pseudomonas syringae on seeds of bean.

Cultural characteristics observed with added CNVB Supplement (PHS009), after an incubation at 25-30 centigrade for 3-7 days .
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 45.63 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 centigrade and aseptically add the rehydrated contents of one vial of CNVB Supplement. Mix well and pour into sterile Petri plates.
