Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is used for the cultivation of yeasts, moulds and aciduric bacteria.

Characteristic
Growth Promotion was carried out in accordance with the (USP/EP/BP/JP), after an incubation at 20-25 centigrade for 24-48 hours.Recovery rate is considered as 100% for bacteria growth on Soybean Casein Digest Agar and fungus growth on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar.
Reaction of 6.5% w/v aqueous solution at 25 centigrade.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade in a tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 65 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 centigrade. Mix well and pour into sterile Petriplates or as desired.
