Chloramphenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that was once used as a veterinary drug for the treatment and prevention of diseases in livestock. Chloramphenicol has been associated with the side effect of causing aplastic anemia in humans and has been banned in several countries. However, due to its effective antibacterial properties and low cost, some livestock farmers still use chloramphenicol to treat diseases in livestock and poultry. To safeguard public health and expand food trade with other countries, it is essential to monitor for chloramphenicol residues.

Intended for the rapid screening of chloramphenicol in aquaculture water, water used for transporting aquatic products, and aquatic tissues.

Water samples: Limit of detection 3.0 μg/kg.
Tissue samples (meat): Limit of detection 0.2 μg/kg.

1. Please follow the operating procedures. Do not touch the test strip’s display area during use.
2. If you discover expired, damaged, contaminated, or defective products upon purchase, please return them to the place of purchase for replacement.
3. This product is for single-use only. Use the test strip immediately after opening; do not reuse it.
4. Do not add samples to the sample well immediately after removing them from the refrigerator or after processing. Allow the sample to return to room temperature (20±5°C) before testing.
5. Do not use water or other liquids as negative control samples.

Store the original packaging at 4-30°C in a cool, dry place away from light. Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight.

Shelf life is 12 months. The production date, expiration date, and lot number are indicated on the outer packaging.
