Product Introduction
The Diazepam Detection Kit employs an indirect competitive ELISA method to detect diazepam (also known as DZP) in samples such as meat (beef, chicken, and pork). The kit consists of a microplate pre-coated with conjugated antigen, horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled conjugate, antibodies, standards, and other necessary reagents. During the assay, standard solutions or sample solutions are added. The diazepam in the sample competes with the pre-coated conjugated antigen on the microplate for binding to the anti-diazepam antibody. After adding the enzyme-labeled conjugate, a color reaction is generated using TMB substrate. The absorbance value of the sample is inversely proportional to the diazepam concentration it contains. By comparing the result with a standard curve, the residual diazepam content in the sample can be determined.
