E.coli and Coliform Detection Board (5)

E.coli and Coliform Detection Board (5) is designed for the detection of E.coli and coliform.

E.coli and Coliform Detection Board (5) consisting of selective medium, soluble bibulous gel, galactosidase and glucuronidase indicator could test E.coli and coliform at the same time. E.coli shows blue color while other coliforms show red color after growing on the detecting board. The sum of blue spots and red spots is the total coliform quantity. This product is suitable for detection of total coliform number in food materials such as milk drinks and condiments, and also for hygiene detection of instrument surface.

1, The PH value of solution should be between 6.5 and 7.5, use 1 mol/L NaOH or 1 mol/L HCl to adjust the PH value if necessary.
2, The requirement of coliform for general food is relatively strict. If there are flaky red spots, or there are many red spots on the edge of detecting board without red spots in the middle, it means the coliform is out of limits. It is suggested that report the result as TNTC (too numerous to count).
3, Disposed the used detecting boards timely according to the biology safety waste treatment rule because there are live bacteria on them.

It is better to place this product in the refrigerator at 4-10 ℃, and the expiration time is one year.

E.coli and coliform, which exist in intestinal and feces of warm-blooded animals, can cause water pollution and food poisoning.
