Description

Concentrated fungal cellulase with high C1-activity; splits the ß-1,4-linkage inside the cellulose molecule.
Cellulose TXL contains also activities of hemicellulase and xylanase.

Applications

• Degradation of all kinds of cellulose
• Decolorization of textile fibers (e.g., production of “stone washed jeans”)
• Treatment of recovered paper

Storage

Stored below 20°C, do not freeze.

Parameters of Reaction

pH: optimum 4.5, active within pH 3.5-6.0.
Temperature: optimum: 50°C, active within 35-60°C.
