Algae Culture Broth is recommended for the isolation and cultivation of algae from soil, water and sewage.

Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed under suitable light source after an incubation at 20-25 centigrade within 1 week.
Reaction of 0.187% w/v aqueous solution at 25 centigrade. pH : 7.0±0.2.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade in tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 1.87 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense as desired.Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes.
