This kit has developed an easy and sensitive assay to measure the L(-) Malate level in a variety of samples. In the assay, malate is specifically oxidized to generate a product which reacts with a substrate probe to generate color (λmax = 450 nm). The assay can detect 1 ~ 35 nmol of Malate in a 50 µl sample with a detection sensitivity ~20 µM.

Methanol Assay Kit utilizes an enzymatic mechanism by which conversion of methanol is correlated stoichiometrically with generation of a colorimetric signal that can be quantified at 450 nm. The assay shows greater than 100-fold specificity for methanol over ethanol. The method is suitable for use in a range of biological and consumable samples, and can detect as little as 500 pmol methanol.

Nickel Assay kit provides a simple method of quantifying Ni²ᶧ in a variety of samples. The assay takes advantage of reaction of Ni²ᶧ with mercaptoethanol in borate buffer to form a complex with strong absorbance bands from ~300 to 600 nm. Fe²ᶧ and Co²ᶧ interfere with the assay, therefore extra steps (as described below) must be taken to subtract the interference in order to determine the correct Nickel concentration in mixed samples. Other ions tested (Mn²ᶧ, Cu²ᶧ, Zn²ᶧ) do not interfere with the assay, presumably no other ionic species are present in high enough concentration to interfere with the reaction. The assay is a simple method of quantifying Ni²ᶧ in a variety of samples, which gives a linear range of 2 to 50 nmol Nickel containing less than 25 nmol Cobalt.

Nitric Oxide Colorimetric Assay Kit provides an accurate, convenient measure of total nitrate/nitrite in a simple two-step process. The first step converts nitrate to nitrite utilizing nitrate reductase. The second step uses Griess Reagents to convert nitrite to a deep purple azo compound. The amount of the azochromophore accurately reflects nitric oxide amount in samples. The detection limit of the assay is approximately 1.0 nmole nitrite/well, or 10 µM.

Phosphate Colorimetric Assay Kit provides an easy, quick and sensitive means of assessing phosphate over a wide range of concentrations. The assay utilizes a proprietary formulation of malachite green and ammonium molybdate which forms a chromogenic complex with phosphate ion giving an intense absorption band around 650 nm. Phosphate concentrations between 1 µM and 1 mM, with a lower limit of detection of approximately 0.1 nmol, can be directly determined. The Phosphate Colorimetric Assay Kit provides 500 assays using microtiter plates or 100 assays using 1 ml cuvettes.

Pyrophosphate (PPi) Assay Kit provides a fast, convenient and ultrasensitive method for determination of free inorganic pyrophosphate levels in biological material. PPi produced during biotic processes is detected through a series of reactions which utilize a proprietary enzyme mix and probe, generating a stable product that can be quantified by either colorimetric or fluorometric readout. Generated fluorescence (Ex/Em = 535/587 nm) or color (OD: 570 nm) intensities are directly proportional to the concentrations of pyrophosphate, enabling precise measurements. Monomeric inorganic phosphate (Pi) does not interfere with the assay. Our assay delivers an easy and robust method suitable for use in a variety of biological samples and can be performed in a convenient microtiter-plate format. The kit provides sufficient reagents for 100 fluorometric or 50 colorimetric assays, respectively. This kit can detect as low as 1.8 μM PPi in plasma and serum samples.
